I’ve always wished that I was one of those women who had a “signature scent” that she always wears and is known by. But I’ve never found one that I could wear every single day. Instead, I rotate through five to seven different bottles for different seasons, moods, times of day. . . .
Stella McCartney’s first fragrance, Stella, is one of my favorites. I’ve eagerly awaited her second, called L.I.L.Y. (The name was Stella’s father, Paul McCartney’s, nickname for her mother, Linda– it’s short for “Linda, I love you.”) It finally arrived, and I loooooove it. Apparently, it has notes of lily of the valley, pink and black pepper, and truffle (among others, but my unsophisticated nose doesn’t smell any of those. I just love how it smells. To me, it smells warm. It’s neither terribly flowery nor musky. It’s the kind of fragrance you really could wear all the time.
I’m not saying that I’m necessarily going to do that. But I just might.
You can find it here.
Have a happy Monday! And, while we’re talking about it– what is your favorite fragrance? Or favorites?
