My pastel dreams came true in L.A. this past weekend. With 80 degree weather, it was easy to feel perfectly at home in my favorite pale shades (not that cooler temps really dissuade me; but I notice that my hues differ from those of many other more seasonally-adherent people). All of my mint pieces enjoyed moments in the sun (pun intended). Thank goodness for photos; I’ll be gazing at these pictures for some time (just the memory of warmth inspires me in cooler times, or, well, all the time).
Have a wonderful weekend!
Outfit 1- Mint Shirt: Equipment (Thanks Sandra!!) / Jeans: AG / Shoes: Chanel (similar here, and I love these!) / Bag: Givenchy (in beige here and red here)
Outfit 2- Mint Dress: Splendid / Shoes: Givenchy (old, similar here) / Bag: Givenchy (in beige here and red here)

Looks like you picked a great time for LA, right between the cold snap and the wet weather. The mint pieces are lovely. For some reason, the shade makes me think of daiquiri sherbet Baskin Robbins used to have when I was a kid…it was my favourite next to orange sherbet. In any case, it’s a very pleasing shade, and I’m glad the market hasn’t overindulged it to the point where it loses its pop. It certainly makes the dress in particular stand out!
Well, now I want ice cream!
I agree, it’s good that the market’s not oversaturated with it so far. It’s a bummer when you love something but it gets totally beaten to death. So far, there are enough colors out there, that mint is safe.

Pretty pastel pieces and I’m also not one to tie colors to seasons. I wear it all year round.
Looks like you had a great time and you looked lovely touring around in the city of angels!
