Here are some scenes from my birthday on Wednesday. It was a really sweet one, full of unexpected surprises, lovely renditions of “Happy Birthday” delivered by my kids, talks with dear friends, and a heart full of gratitude. It was a simpler birthday this year, given my distance from family and so many friends, but it was one of the sweetest.
In the above pictures are: the fabulous watercolor of Kate Moss (with whom I share a birthday) that my mother gifted me with, a photo of my son dancing around wearing a Happy Birthday headband, and the outfit I wore out to dinner, which involved wide-leg leather pants, a neoprene tee, a Tom Binns necklace (similar here), and one of my birthday gifts.
Thank you to those of you who wished me a Happy Birthday, and thank all of you for helping making my birthday (and this past year) one to remember.

Oh wow, Ali I totally love what you wore for your bday. Those leather pants are so unique. Love the combo of them being wide-leg and leather! That PS top works perfectly with them!
