I have a shoe problem of late. But not my usual shoe problem (which, in case you haven’t heard, is walking more than a few steps in high heels). No, I have a new shoe problem: I can’t stop buying sneakers.
Why, you ask, am I having this dilemma? Well, let me break it down. On top of the fact that sneakers are comfortable (obvi), they now come in so many amazing color combinations (including pastels, neon, and combinations of the two), and they are making their mark in the fashion world as well (it seems sneakers are now cool with just about any outfit, not just workout wear).
Short story shorter, there’s a lot to love about sneakers these days (or trainers, if you’re British or hipper than moi). In addition, a fab new pair can go far in helping you accomplish your New Year’s resolutions (if they involve fitness and/or fashion). So here are some of the most fabulous pairs I’ve laid eyes on lately. I can’t get enough, really. There’s none of that pesky hobbling that comes with stilettos, and they’re such a lovely way to inject some color(s)/texture/spring into your step. All hail the jazzy sneaker! I swear they’ll make your day that much sunnier.
