As I was reviewing street style looks from New York Fashion Week, this one jumped out at me. It combines the future (a.k.a. black and white, which New York designers couldn’t get enough of for Fall 2013) and the now: bold pattern. Joanna Hillman looks completely hip in her leopard spots and black and white separates. And this is a look that you could wear just about anywhere, which is wonderful (because, let’s face it, there are certain street style looks you couldn’t walk into an office building in without feeling, shall we say, out of sync). But this look could take you just about anywhere. And its pieces could be added and subtracted from a thousand fabulous outfits.
I’ve adopted the “cost per wear” brand of economic theory because it makes consummate sense, and these pieces are sure to get lots of wear (and thus, help you with your economic theory).
