Pastels in the City

One of the many things I love about San Francisco is the fact that it’s full of pastels– from the Seven Sisters houses and the skyline to the fog that envelops the city and turns everything a shade of pale.  So when I happened to be wearing a plethora of pastels the other day, I fit right in with the streets of my city.  (Later when it got chilly, I put on my lavender leather jacket and inadvertently looked like a was impersonating an Easter egg, but I don’t have evidence of that, unfortunately.)

Every Spring, pastels feel right, and perhaps this Spring more than ever.  Mint green and ice blue are my favorites right now, and they actually look lovely together (personally, I find all pastels look wonderful together.  I guess it’s nature’s inspiration– Spring abounds with all kinds of pastels too.  So why not follow its lead?)

Have a Happy Monday!
