Playing With Patterns

Summer is the most playful time of the year, if you ask me.  When so much sand and sun get involved, shenanigans must follow.  So it seems like the perfect time to mix some contrasting patterns and see what comes of it.  More fun, in all likelihood.    Hence my combination of tribal print and polka dot here.  It just made sense in the late afternoon sun, in the shade of palm trees.

After all, I’m just walking my talk.  This MSGM dress (which I wrote about here) spoke to me so loudly that when it went on crazy-sale, there was nothing to say but YES.  MSGM prints continue to inspire me, and so  many of them are marked down now, it’s hard not to feel ecstatic with the options.  After all, I’ve not yet worn a multi-hued panther print, have you?  How about an Ikat Moto jacket?  I mean, seriously.  What could be better over a little black dress?  (It’s rhetorical, people.)  I’m also dreaming of this gorgeous number.  (Ahhhh, technicolor dreams. . . .)

Anyway, I nominate you to have a blast playing with all of MSGM’s seriously discounted patterns right now.  Just blame it on the palm trees.

AND today is the last day to get an ADDITIONAL 25% sale items at Shopbop.com.  Just enter code ‘SALE25’  at checkout, and play away.
