Cocooned

Carven coat

If this season’s outerwear were to be defined by a silhouette, the cocoon coat would likely be the winner.  It’s cozy shape (not to mention its snuggly name) brings a whole different level of comfort to the layering game.

And will it surprise you that I’m layering mine with. . .

more plaid?  Likely not, if you’ve been following my intense foray into plaid in every possible guise.  In my estimation, it just serves to take any amount of coziness to another level.  And this blouse, with its unusual shape (that happens to be pretty cocoon-like, if you ask me) just adds to the feeling that I’m in some sort of fashion crysalis, waiting to hatch into another form.

But, for now, I’m just keeping warm.

Happy Monday!

Coat: Carven (similar here, here, and here, and how much fun is this leopard one?) / Blouse: Celine (from Kirna Zabete, call to purchase, similar here) / Jeans: AG / Shoes: Valentino  (similar here) / Bag: Celine

Thank you, Kim! Yes, I’ve gotten myself some distressed jeans, and I’m with you– I’m finding AGs to be my go-to’s, no matter how many other pairs I try and (briefly) fall for!
