Ready to Romp

Sea romper

This is the time of year (also known as minutes after the ball drops on New Year’s) when I start thinking ahead to Spring/Summer.  This is not a huge stretch now that I live in California, but even when I lived in the coldest and snowiest of locales, I started wearing my Spring clothes as soon as possible (even if that meant covering them up with layers upon layers of sweaters, jackets, and scarves).  Winter is just not my thing.  So, mentally, I just skip ahead.

So, while much of the world is encased in frozen wintriness, my mind is on warmer days ahead.  As such, I’ve been thinking about what I’ll want to wear this Spring.  Much like the Springs before this, I’ve decided this Spring calls for rompers.  The past few years, I’ve found that my rompers (and jumpsuits) get the most wear in my closet.  They can easily be layered with cardigans, and thus can be worn (for at least parts of) three seasons of the year (and vacations, of course).

Besides, rompers allow you to move around without constriction, and frankly, the name just sounds fun, doesn’t it?  So, I was super excited to find a new romper coming this way by Sea.  Isn’t it sweet?  I can tell I’m going to wear the heck out of it this Spring/Summer/Fall.

Sign me up.

This romper and the entire Sea Pre-Fall collection (including this fabulous dress that I would start wearing now with tights if I could) are available for pre-order for the next week at Moda Operandi.
