I don’t know what it is, but I’ve really been noticing my pores lately. I don’t know if my skin is changing or my makeup mirror is too magnified, but it has seemed like my foundation is just sitting in my pores staring back at me each morning. Not a good look.
So, I’ve embarked on a whirlwind journey trying to fix the problem. I’ve tried at least five different foundations. I’ve tried BB and CC creams (and no, I can’t remember the difference between the two). Nothing has made much of a difference.
Til now. Becca’s Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector is magic in a tube, and it’s lived up to its name. It is like Photoshop in a bottle. You can wear it alone or under foundation (I opt for the foundation route). And somehow it transforms your skin into your skin’s fantasies of what it could look like if it everything in the world going for it (perfect hydration, a personal trainer, a private green juicer. . .).
I was nervous about the “matte” aspect of the equation, because I tend to like a dewy look, but I’m really sold on the whole thing. I feel like you need to try it to understand what I mean, because I’ve really been gobsmacked by the results. It really does perfect your skin! This morning, while rushing around with a full day ahead and two kids in need of getting to school in minutes, I realized I’d forgotten to use the Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, and I contemplated taking off my makeup and starting again. That’s how good it is.
You can get it here.
Have a happy weekend! I’m so glad to have made it through this break-neck week!
