Jumpsuits make my heart skip a beat. They are so perfectly utilitarian, while simultaneously being chic, that they check off just about all of my sartorial boxes. But I’d run out of new ideas for how to wear them.
Until Christy Turlington Burns wore one last night with a blazer for the premiere of her new documentary Every Mile, Every Mother. She made her jumpsuit look so effortlessly perfect, and so perfect for myriad occasions (like date night, casual Friday, running around town, and apparently, a movie premiere, so that covers nearly all the bases we might have in a week, doesn’t it?)
I really wish I were wearing this outfit right now. Chances are I’ll be attempting to pull off a similar look quite soon.
And I’m also so interested to hear more about Burlington’s new documentary. I saw a screening of her first documentary, No Woman, No Cry, last year at Alt Summit and found it so affecting. Christie’s work on behalf of maternal health around the globe is inspiring.
So, it’s not just her outfits that inspire. You can shop Christie’s look here:
