Maybe In Another Life

Maybe in Another Life

Are you looking for a page-turner of a book for Labor Day (or any other day)?  Maybe in Another Life is a great read and was named “Best Book of the Summer” by Glamour Magazine.

I finished it a few days ago and keep thinking about it (which I think is a sign of a great book).  It’s got a really intriguing premise in that it explores two possible ways the main character’s life could have gone.  But it deals with that premise in a really new and inventive way, and the end result is really captivating.

The story centers on twenty-nine year old Hannah Martin, who has moved back to Los Angeles after a disastrous break up, and is still trying to figure out what she wants out of life.  On her first night back, she has to decide whether to leave a party with her best friend or her high school boyfriend, who she has just reunited with.  The book follows the parallel universes predicated on that decision, and the result is a book I found impossible to put down.

I really loved this book, and I think you will too.

Happy reading!
