A Few Things I’m Loving Right Now

A Few Things I'm Loving Right Now 16

Happy Friday!  This week was gone in a flash, wasn’t it?  This is sure to be an exciting weekend in San Francisco, with the Super Bowl in town!  And I have some new favorite things to share with you.

I went to a dinner party last weekend, and it was awesome from start to finish.  As soon as I got home, I tried to track down as many aspects of the night as I could.  First on the list was buying the cookbook that featured the amazing kale salad we’d had that night.  The recipe is here.  It is so good!  You know when you’re going back for seconds of a kale salad at a great dinner party, that’s a kale salad for the record books.

I love Jerry Seinfeld’s online show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.  I’ve watched almost all the episodes.  But I just watched the episode featuring President Obama, and it’s really fun!  Obama is definitely funny, and it’s so much fun to see him loosen up a bit in this interview.

I’ve got my eyes on these red shoes (and these).  With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it seems like the perfect excuse to get some more red in my closet, and this shorter heeled version of Aquazzura’s Wild Thing sandal is right up my alley.

I play Coldplay’s new song with Beyoncé, Hymn for the Weekend around the clock.  Like over and over.  For as long as I can get away with (which depends on who else is around.  Luckily, my kids don’t mind driving around in the car with it playing on repeat).  The video is beautiful too.  And it’s pretty likely they’ll play it at the Super Bowl halftime show this weekend.  I love it!!

I’m loving the Beyonce and Coldplay song along with you. I can picture you and your family jamming out to it– even your husband!!!????

    • Haha!! Enjoli, we have totally jammed out to it– still working on the husband though! 😉

      Have a great weekend!!
